My crazy thinking

It is just the beginning of summer, but Dalian has already reach a temperature of 30 degrees. It is not normal as usual. Fewer people go out for shopping during the day now. I don't think there has been a summer as hot as this year. Luckily, I can stay at home and do what I like, but unlucky for the students in Dalian that still not begin their summer vacation. They have to study hard for their final exam. I don't know who make the stupid rule that high mark students could go to better schools and low mark students have to go worse school.Schools and teachers should pay attention on students' ability. This problem has been discussed and argued for many years, but why it is still used to measure a student today? Nobody could make sure that good students can make more money than bad students or they could get a better job. The richest person in the world--Bill Gates didn't graduate from university, but he created Microsoft. I think good mark is not the way that leads to success. I know some friends that are very excellent "question killers" because they could almost get a full mark on their any subject in the final exam, but they don't know which bus should they take go to Walmart Supermarket or even don't know how to play super mario. They spend too much time on their study, they should have a rest. Why didn't their parents ask them to have rest? Or to have a picnic with their friends? Or just have a good sleep at night? And I don't know why they do not ask their parents for a rest? I only know the rule: better mark makes better school, as if students' goal is not to make money or have a good job, instead it is to go to a good school. That is like a virus live in their brain and can never be killed. I think better mark can only tell a person this student study hard and clever, it can not lead student to a better school but lead them to a mechanical brain. They could not think, the only think they could do is answering questions......
I'm a student, too. I used to study in such an environment, too. I used to try to get a high mark on each exam, and also on my exam now. But the only difference between my school and the public school is that I can get a good mark from my thinking but they do not. I'm not admiring my school, that's the truth. I've been seen students study hard at night under he light, I've seen students remembering English words and grammars very hard but they could not remember their mom's birthday, I also have seen students reading studying materials while they were walking homes. But they have no chance to have a good sleep, they have no time to read a cartoon or a fashion magazine, they also have no time to enjoy life with their friends. The only thing inside their mind is to get a good mark in order to go to a good university.
what about myself? Should I do as them? Is it good to study hard like them? I know the importance of going to a good school, I know the importance of getting a good mark. That is not only the hope of every single student but also the hope every single parent. What should I do for them? what could I do for them? A good mark and a better school? That will make me become a machine, not a human being. These questions make me very confuse.
I hope one day, school all around the world could make students to practice their working skill, not the skill of how many marks they could get.
Is this possible?

About the mysterious phone call in my hotel (joke)

Last year, I lived in a 3 stars hotel. And I met my teacher of my middle school. From 9 o’clock until the next morning 5 o’clock I got 16 telephone calls.

The first one was shampoo seller.

The second one was asking me whether I need hot water.

The third one was asking me where to have dinner? ----I didn’t know that person.

The fourth one was asking me whether I need illegal gun, ------I asked him “do you have tank?”

The fifth call was wrong, he thought me was a shop assistant, and said “god damn” to me.

The sixth was to call the director of a cake factory------ I said he was not here, and gave him the phone number of the most ugly boy in my company.

The seventh was a empty number, nobody answered.

The eighth was asking me to go to the Beihai Park and count the 79th chair then to get the goods. And he said a person named “black storm” would be there soon.

The ninth was medicine seller, I told him to ask the Beijing chemical fertilizer company because I have friends there.

The tenth was to sell life insurance, and the eleventh one was to sell the safety insurance. ------lower efficiency than the life insurance.

The twelfth was still that gun seller, he asked me difficultly how many tank do I need……

The thirteenth is an empty number.
The fourteenth was a man, he told me that a girl was looking for me downstairs. I said, “don’t cheat me, I’m not kid.

The fifteenth was from my elder brother, I disguised as the morning call worker and made him surprise.

The sixteenth was from prostitute, and she asked me whether I need special service. Ha! I really got what I wanted, and I told her to bring 5 here, room number was 7088.

The seventeenth was I. I call the police. The dean next room would be in big trouble because he confiscated my cartoon when I was a kid.

Is song a dictionary of metaphors?

Almost everyday there will be hundreds of songs created. Everybody likes to listen to songs, especially the beautiful words of the song, just like poems.
I found that almost every single song includes some metaphors of similes, even in national songs.
For example, the China national song, there is a sentence says “to make a new great wall by our bodies.” It means that to defend enemies by us. You see we can find a metaphor here. Body is great wall.
People like to use metaphors or similes in songs nearly get into crazy. We should admit that the imagination of these song makers is really strong. They could use anything to change into a metaphor. For example, love. What is love? Different people have different opinions of love. In songs, I found hundreds of loves such as “love is vitamin C” because it is needed everyday to make us healthy. And “love is invisible snow” because it’s cool and not really exist, it will come fast and disappear fast.
I’m sure if someone wants to be a poet, the fast and easiest way to make his dream come true is to listen to songs and examine the words.

The only person you can change is yourself

After I finished reading this article, I thought deeply. Why people argue? Why lovers break up? And why people can not live with each other very well? The only reason is that they always want others to change as they want. Everybody is different from others, and everybody has different culture and customs. They can not change themselves for you. Even if they could change, that will be only a little bit. We can not force people do what we like. Just like at home. Maybe each family has the same problem of their children's hedroom. I'm sure parents have yelled to their children for cleaning up their bedroom thousands of times. They don't think which is more important, a clean bedroom or a good relative. Remember, what we can only change is OURSELVES. Therefore, if we want to have a good relative with others, change outselves.
Why viruses could live for a very long time and never be killed? It is because they could change themselves to fit the environment. So we should try to be a "virus",l to try to change outselves when we had conflict with others. When we do so, we will find that is is very to enjoy the happy time while we are staying with others.

Is military training useful?

When you see this question, you might see a picture of soldiers, having a gun between their arms and step clearly. Many peoplethought that the military training is a good idea for students. But actually I think it is not very useful.
The purpose of military training is to make students like soldiers: stand straight and have a strenth to study. I think that will make a bad result. After a long period of training, then students will be very tired to study, especially in hot summer. Also, to be a person like a soldier will not be achieved in only a short period. Too much work will only make students get worse on everyday's life because they will lose their power to study.
Some students are weaker than others, if they get sickor hurt during the military training. Who will take responsiblity for them? So I think we should think out a better idea to train student, we shoukd let them do esercise by themselves, not to force them.

About Adults

Maybe every child would have the same feeling about their parents, so do I. Most parents want their children to be better, so they put most of their heart on their children. But because of they take too much care of their children, something always will lead a bad result. Parents always want their children to do as they want. I think every child should have their own room to grow. My parents take a lot care of me. I'm very thank to them, but I think they should "have a rest" because they are too busy with me. I mean they want me to be a man, but sometimes they think I am still a kid. And they ask me a lot of questions that are really useless. I don't like parents keep their children as flowers, they should give them room to grow.
And also they always give their experiences to children in order to help them leave dangers away. But I think that is not a good idea, because every child will have different way of thinking, so let them get close to the real society and get their own social experience by themselves.
